We build AI software that ships to production and stays there.
LiftyUP is an AI-native software development studio founded in 2024, based in Bresso, just outside Milan. We work with Italian SMBs and professional firms.
A software development studio, not a consultancy.
LiftyUP S.r.l. is an AI-native software development studio. It was founded in 2024, is based in Bresso, just outside Milan, and is registered as an innovative startup in the special section of the Italian Business Register. The founder is Francesco Marzano. We build AI agents, automations and applications that use artificial intelligence to do one precise job inside a company. Our clients are Italian SMBs and professional firms: accountants, lawyers, labour consultants. People who spend their day retyping data from a PDF into their management software, or hunting for forty minutes for an answer that is already written in a document they own. We don't do slide-deck strategy. What we deliver is software that goes to production and stays there: a named Tech Lead, releases every two weeks, a contract that commits us to the result. And when a problem isn't solved by AI, we say so before signing.
Who we work with.
Italian SMBs, typically with revenue between 1 and 50 million, with a process running by hand and management software that does not cover it.
Professional firms: accountants, lawyers, labour consultants. People who work on documents all day.
Companies with a growing product in production that need steady technical capacity, without hiring right now.
Above 50 million in revenue we're not the right partner. There are more structured firms for that kind of project, and we say so upfront.
What we build.
Continuous development
A team that delivers month after month: monthly fee, shared roadmap, named Tech Lead, releases every two weeks. For growing products and backlogs that never start.
Document data extraction
Invoices, delivery notes, contracts, CVs, bank statements, certified email (PEC) with attachments. An AI system reads, extracts the fields, checks them and writes them into your management software. In production in 3-5 weeks, 80-95% automation, a human review queue for the uncertain cases.
AI knowledge base
An internal chat over your documents that answers citing the source and says "I don't know" when it doesn't know. Confluence, SharePoint, Drive, Notion. First version in 4-6 weeks, answers in under 10 seconds.
On-demand AI agents and automations
A recurring problem, an endpoint that solves it. You call it from your management software, your ERP or your app, and the agent decides and executes. You pay per use.
Custom AI-native apps
A product built from scratch with artificial intelligence at its core: frontend, backend, models, integrations. From prototype to production deployment.
Claude Cowork setup
From chat to agent: Skills, MCP, Projects with memory. Environment configured and training for people who do not write code.
AI Assessment
We turn your processes inside out, find the work that eats hours, and tell you where AI actually makes sense. And where it does not.
How we work.
People before technology
The first days with a client are about listening, not proposing. We start from what the person using the software does today, and what they could do tomorrow with an extra hour. Technology comes second.
Craft-quality code
We build software that goes to production and stays there for years. No proof-of-concepts for their own sake, no slide-deck architectures. Every project has a named Tech Lead who follows it from the first day to the last.
A community that grows together
The people who work with us aren't a number on a contract. We choose them with care, we train them, we grow together project after project. That's how you build a relationship that lasts.
A work contract with obligation of result
We commit to delivering the agreed deliverables, not time. A named Tech Lead per project, releases every two weeks, and on continuous contracts 30 days' notice to leave.
The numbers.
Founded in 2024, based in Bresso (MI), Italy.
Innovative startup registered in the special section of the Italian Business Register.
Releases every 2 weeks, 1 named Tech Lead per project.
30 days notice to end a continuous development contract.
Document extraction in production in 3-5 weeks, 80-95% automation.
AI knowledge base: first version in 4-6 weeks, answers in under 10 seconds.
90-day warranty on document extraction and AI knowledge base projects.
Typical client revenue between 1 and 50 million euros.
What we don't do.
Proof-of-concepts for their own sake. If the goal isn't production, we don't start.
Slide-deck strategy consulting. An analysis that doesn't end in software is just one more document.
Clients above 50 million in revenue. Better partners exist for those projects, and we'll tell you who to call.
Time-based engagements without an obligation of result. The contract is a work contract: we commit to the deliverable.
Frequently asked questions.
How do we start working together?
With a thirty-minute call where you tell us the problem. If it's something we know how to do well, you get a proposal with scope and price. If it isn't, we tell you who to call instead of us.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the service. Document extraction goes to production in 3-5 weeks, an AI knowledge base has its first version live in 4-6 weeks. Continuous development has no end date: it's a monthly fee with releases every two weeks and 30 days notice to leave.
How is the price built?
On the project, not on time. What counts is the agreed scope, the volume of documents, the integrations with the systems you already use and how complex the thing is to build. The price is fixed before we start and it comes out of the call: publishing a figure without knowing the case would mean making it up.
What if it doesn't work?
It depends on what we delivered. Document extraction and AI knowledge base projects carry a 90-day warranty: if what went to production doesn't do what was agreed, we fix it. On continuous development the roadmap and the budget are reviewed every quarter, and if we aren't giving you value you leave with 30 days' notice.
How are you different from an AI consultancy?
A consulting engagement ends with a document. We end with software in production. We do run analysis, that is what the AI Assessment is for, but it is the first step of a project that ends in a system someone uses on Monday morning. If you need a strategy to take to the board, we are not the right studio.
Let's talk for 30 minutes.
Tell us what you're looking to build. If it's something we do well, we'll send a proposal with scope and timeline in 5 business days. If not, we'll tell you who to call instead.
