AI Compass: in one week you know how AI is used in your company, which rules apply and where to start.
Five days on your case. At the end you have clear rules with their sources, a ready policy and a plan for the first processes to automate.
AI is already used at work. Often nobody knows with which data.
Someone pastes a contract into ChatGPT to summarise it, someone else uses a browser extension to write emails. Nobody decided whether that's allowed, and nobody knows where that data ends up. Meanwhile the rules have changed. There is the EU AI Act, there is Italian Law 132/2025, and Legislative Decree 179/2026, in force from 23 October 2026, aligns Italian law with the AI Act. Many companies stop right here: according to ISTAT, among those that considered AI without adopting it, almost one in two cites unclear rules.
Five days, one step a day.
- 1
Listening
Interviews and an anonymous questionnaire: which AI tools are used, by whom, for what and with which data.
- 2
Tools and data
Where your clients' data ends up, which contract covers each provider and which settings to change.
- 3
Rules
For each use, what the AI Act, Law 132/2025 and the GDPR require, with the source and the date it applies from.
- 4
Policy and training
The AI policy, for professional firms the notice that informs clients, and two hours of training with your team.
- 5
The plan
The processes to automate first, with what each one needs. The plan is yours: you can carry it out with whoever you like.
When it helps, and when it doesn't.

You want an AI Act certificate: for Article 4 training the law doesn't require one
You already have a policy and a plan: better to start from the project
What you have at the end.

Frequently asked questions.
Does AI Compass replace the lawyer or the DPO?
No. We tell you which rules apply and what to do, with the source of each. The legal opinion and formal privacy decisions stay with whoever holds that role, and we're happy to work with them.
Do AI Act fines apply to an SME too?
Yes, if they breach an obligation that applies to them, and for SMEs the cap is whichever is lower: the fixed amount or the turnover percentage. Often, though, the concrete problem comes first: clients' data entered into tools without the right settings.
What changes for professional firms?
Italian Law 132/2025, Article 13, allows AI only for instrumental and support activities, with the professional's intellectual work remaining prevalent, and requires informing the client in clear language. In AI Compass we prepare that notice.
Is one week really enough?
Yes, because we work on what is already there: today's tools, data and processes. We don't write a strategy from scratch, we line up facts and rules. We need one contact person and a few hours of your team in the first two days.
How much does it cost?
A fixed price, written in the proposal after the first call. It depends on how many people and tools need mapping.
After AI Compass, do I have to work with you?
No. The plan is yours and you can carry it out with whoever you like. If you want, we build the first projects.
Let's talk for 30 minutes.
Tell us what you're looking to build. If it's something we do well, we'll send a proposal with scope and timeline in 5 business days. If not, we'll tell you who to call instead.
